Responsibility:
Responsible for the creation of actionable data and development of high-impact visual applications:
Work closely with the teams to assess reporting needs
Manage creation, implementation, validation and ongoing support of data visualization tools and recurring reports
Develop complex dashboards and reporting solutions
Collaborate with Database Administrators and Developers regarding the development of and adherence to data modeling standards, methods and practices.
Serve the client team as an expert on internal data visualization best practices
Requirements:
Owned the design, development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc., to drive key business decisions and communicate key concepts to readers.
Expertise with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Google Sheets, Jasper report
Intermediate experience developing custom SQL
Some experience/exposure to MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Azure or other data extraction, transformation and storage tools preferred
Led the complete lifecycle of visual analytical applications, from development of mock ups and storyboards to the complete production-ready application.
The ability and strong desire to innovate with strong problem solving, technical and communication skills
Interfaced with data miners and analysts to extract, transform and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and Ruby.
Fine-tuned and improved query performance using profiling tools and SQL.
Requires excellent organizational, written, and communication skills
