General Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with management in the implementation of corporate policies related to
human resources, organizational and employee development at the business unit or division
level
- Consult with employees and managers to address root causes of human resources issues,
attempting to resolve employee relations issues with a systematic approach
- Participate in company-wide programs and initiatives (e.g., compensation review, workforce
planning and organizational change)
- Assist senior management in the development of solutions through organizational
development and cultural and process-oriented perspectives
- Viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management
staff
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Think, act and work with business management to drive human resources related
improvement initiatives
- Engage in frontline management to sense human resources related health indicator within
business group
- Join key business group meetings
Requirements:
- Requires BS/BA degree or equivalent with 12 or more years of related experience and 7 or
more years of direct management experience.
- The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic
environment.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills. Managing multiple
projects simultaneously.
- Ability to coordinate priorities and initiatives. Outstanding management skills, including
diplomacy, clear communication style and employee development.
- High level of skill in developing, mentoring, empowering, managing, and supporting staff.
Excellent planning and problem solving skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and
limited resource environment.
- Dynamic, motivated, and results oriented creative thinker.
